You can achieve interesting energy recovery, on low temperature steam with plate heat exchangers.
The new improved DN300 and DN500 plates give us the chance to install some big units to get this results:
- DN300 plate type TCP9A – 15MW
- DN500 plate type TCPZZ – 25MW
Both installed to produce hot water for heat district units, from low pressure steam (4 barg).
Customer installed 2 big plate heat exchanger for 150% total capacity, in this way they can get 75% of power also in case of unscheduled maintenance.
